Nikolai, there was no "when", but "if":--) In general, it's time to strongly straighten the classification of butterflies on the site, but I would like to gain sources... People point to the Zinovsky catalog. But not everything is smooth there, it is necessary, at least, to combine... As for the type — the type was added to the catalog (without a subgenus yet), and the photo was moved to it. In the synonyms of trivia-this was absolutely not the case...

Melitaea trivia Melitaea ornata.

And when will there be a separate view on the site?

30.11.2024 20:33, Peter Khramov

1. I leave Alexander as "determined", because the name was immediately included in the note. 2. The photo is still being transferred to Melitaea trivia, which has M. ornata in its synonyms. This does not mean that ornata is not a separate species. This means that it is still synonymous in the site's system. If there is a separate view on the site — we will move it to ornata.

Peter, the name of the species in the author's comments Melitaea ornata Christoph, 1893. Once again, let Corb decide.

Alexander, upload the link to the publication concerning the species.

Alexander, I repeat, this is the curator of the family should put.

This one has already been published.

Colleagues! With draughtsmen, it is now completely dark - several good specialists, including Korb, understand genetics at once. What will happen here in the end ..., what is valid, what is not valid ... I would like to leave this company alone for now for those who really didn't get into it seriously. Let something be published at last. Although there is a suspicion that there will be no consensus:)

23.03.2017 12:52, Alexandr Zhakov

Peter, Korb is nominally the day supervisor. The issue of this group is controversial, with different opinions on the species affinity, i.e., the status of taxa and their ranges. This should be done by the curator. If he refuses to do it, then I can do it, but not before. :)

People, the view is not obtained or the nymphalidniks are invalid now?

23.03.2017 10:19, Alexander Belousov

Can anyone help?

I think you need a page of the form
