Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Body length: 17-25 mm. Unlike @ @ Staphylinus erythropterus the shield is covered with black hairs. Pronotum base with yellow hairline. All tergites of the abdomen, except the last, with hair spots. The last segment of the hind leg is not longer than the first segment. [249].
