Distribution
- Regions of the Russian Federation: the Lower Amur, Seaside, Mid-Amur. [3].
- Outside of Russia in China, Korea, Japan
It occurs in the broad forest glades and clearings, parks and gardens, near the reclaimed from the forest areas with ruderal vegetation [2].
- Myanmar, Northern Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan [132].
Imago lifespan
- Two generations. Wintered individuals reappear at the end of April to May and summer until mid-May. Summer pokolenie- in July-September. [2].

- Adult gusenitsa- dark brown with yellow stripes and 7th rows of orange branched spikes [2].
Larva food plants / other food objects
- Humulopsis scandens (Humulus japonicus) (hmelevik climbing (Humulus japonicus))
and Cannabis sativa (hemp) from the family Cannabaceae (Konoplev). In the Amur region, and more Urtica urens (nettle) from the family Urticaceae (nettle) [2].

- Pupa brownish with dark stripes along the wing buds and side - across the abdominal segments, the dorsal surface of the small light bumps. [2].
