Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Wingspan 45-55 mm. Male similar toAppias pandionebut the inner edge of black border continued for a short distance in space 3 and not reaching the black spot at end cell; UnH yellowish-white with obscure markings not as dark as in the former species. Female similar to that ofAppias pandionebut darker with broader borders and FW black border extended mid-way along dorsum to the base, HW with two additional white submarginal spots in spaces 5 and 6. [144].
