Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Wingspan 40-60 mm. Male UP is white, FW with a broad black border at apex and along termen to vein 1b, with two or three white spots in spaces 3, 6 and 7, the inner edge of the blsck border continued inwards along space 3 as a broken band , conjoined a spot at end cell and dark costal band at upper edge of the cell, HW with a variable black border. Female is larger and paler than in the male, FW with three white spots inside the black border at apex. [144].
