Distribution

  • Regions of the Russian Federation: the Lower Amur, Seaside, South Kuril. [3].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Subcranial line on both wings with a dark border on the inner side, almost equal in width to the marginal field; kidney-shaped spot is absent or in the form of an indistinct stroke, other elements of the pattern are poorly expressed. [204].

General info about Imago

  • Paracolax. Mustache: Bristle-shaped or short-combed. The palps are elongated forward or crescent-shaped, bent up, short. The pattern of the front wings is quite diverse. There are 16 species in the genus (Palearctic, Oriental region), and 10 in the Palearctic. There are 5 species in the Russian Far East. [204].

  • Early VII - Mid VIII [204].

Larva food plants / other food objects

  • - Caterpillars have been recorded in Japan on dry conifers of Tujopsis dolabrata and Cryptomeria japonica. [204].
