  • Regions of the Russian Federation: the Lower Amur, Primorye, Sakhalin and South Kuril. [3].
  • - Japan (including Tsushima Island), Korea, China-Mixed and deciduous forests, shrubby thickets. [204].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Subcranial line on both wings without a broad dark border; reniform spot in the form of 2 dots, sometimes merging into a stroke. The pattern of bandages is more pronounced. Light, with a dark narrow border, the marginal line stands out sharply against the brown background of the wings; the outer band of the forewings is curved, but not serrated; the median shadow is straight. [204].
