Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- The wings are dark, mauve-brown, with indistinct bandages and lines. The reniform spot is dark yellow, semilunar; there are white transverse strokes on the costal margin at the beginning of the ligaments and the subcranial line. On the dark hindwings, the pattern is not pronounced. The whiskers of the males are comb-like. [204].
