Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Front wing — up to 2.1 cm long. The color is brown-red (often in Southern Germany) or brown-gray. A characteristic feature can be a kidney-shaped spot filled with whitish or yellowish pigment, next to which there are always two small white spots. [85].
