Distribution

  • Regions of the Russian Federation: the Lower Amur, Seaside. [3].
  • Amur region, Primorye, China, Korea
    It is found on the edges and mid mountain cedar-broadleaf forests, partly in the spruce-fir taiga and deciduous forests with a rich understory of shrubs [2].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Сверху на задних крыльях субмаргинальная полоса со светлыми, почти белыми лунками. Длина передних крыльев самцов 27-31, самок 34-35. [130].

  • Caterpillar green top with white side stripes and a dark lower part of the body. On the back 2 rows brown spines, of which 3 front pair is much longer than the others [2].
