Where can I read about ground beetles?

Community and ForumInsects biology and faunisticsWhere can I read about ground beetles?

Where can I read about the geography (faunistics) of the Carabinae of Ukraine?

Specifically, I am interested in the species composition of the Southern Regions of Ukraine and Crimea, in which biotopes they live, and in which months they are active.

I somewhere on the forum in the topic "lists" put up a list of ground beetles of the genus Carabus of Ukraine. Need to search.

Crimea.
Carabus granulatus
Carabus cancellatus Ill
Carabus bosphoranus Fisch
Carabus campestris perrini Dej = Carabus perrini perrini
Carabus bessarabicus bessarabicus Fisch
Carabus hungaricus gastridulus Fisch
Carabus gyllenhali Fisch
Carabus scabrosus tauricus
Carabus stscheglowi
Carabus clathratus

If you have something interesting from your region, I can
change it .rpanin@mail.ru
I am also interested in the species composition of the Southern regions of Ukraine and Crimea.I can list the species ,but not the biology. I didn't catch it myself.
I can only say one thing - in the steppe to catch only in May. Then, as a rule, very bad.

I fished in the steppe both in May and in July. For some reason, there are only errans, and in the summer it is really less common.
And what species are active now (in the fall)?
If I understand perfectly well, there is no point in setting traps in the steppe areas right now?

About the list: I have a copy of c. aurolimbatus from Donetsk. True, 16 years ago and without a label, but I caught it personally. It turns out that this species is no longer in Ukraine, or what?

In the fall-none ! Even now, beetles lie in the cradles.
c. aurolimbatus is a species ! South-east of Kiev

errans is needed . I can switch . The equivalent ,or even better, I can easily offer.
You should also have a Hungarian ground beetle in the steppe, and perrini planus, scabriusculus, bessarabicus. The latter is caught only in April and early May.
