Earlier when searching a species synonym name, one could find that the autosuggestion worked by typing species full name and only that way, so as if you used just either, second part of the species name, no synonym name autosuggested then, for one, search by "urticata" only didn't autosuggest synonym Anania hortulata whilst one by the full name Eurrhypara urticata actually did. So now you may get its synonym by only "urticata" part.
P. S. To add, the latest upgrades are all about the autosuggestion, the main search ("Search" button) is still way slower and less functional. That is sure to be fixed, however my advice is make as much use of the autosuggestion thing which works noticeably faster and handier. Btw, for those who prefer keyboard to others and execute search request by pressing the "Enter" button, please be informed that you as well may select out of autosuggested names by using keyboard arrows and the "Enter" button.
