Literally thousands of these larvae are brought to the Poultry market, extracted from dung heaps in the Ryazan region. I think they can be found not only in the Ryazan region.

Both males and females fly to the light (where they are). Last year, I found a lone female under a street lamp right near the railway station, at the Railway station: I was surprised a lot. I remember the year 1975 especially vividly (I bent about the banks naturally, but a lot). And now they seem to have given part of the land for cottages. That's a shame
