In Chuvashia, 1 specimen was caught. In the Aukema, Riger catalog, this species is indicated for the Central European part of Russia. I would like to know how far north this view goes.

In the south of the Ulyanovsk region, I saw one (korotkokr.) caught in a soil trap. At one time with CosMosk went.

It is not uncommon in the Saratov region. It occurs in spring under the bark of trees (mainly birch), and in summer - on roads and paths.

- if I'm not mistaken, this species was added to the CC of the Samara region... I wonder if it is really so rare or if we are too lazy to look for them...
Last year I specially watched and caught one in September on a steep sandy slope near a forest and a quarry. When pricked - felt the sharpest smell of anise...

In the Fauna of the USSR, the northern border is Kaluga - Serpukhov - Kuibyshev.
