folks does anyone know anything about this mustache guy!!!! where to look for it, on what, and generally knowing the place where it is exactly, since I was brought it from there today!!! I really like it... I'll duplicate a photo from the May reports (Aleshkovsky Sands).
A dead beetle and larva were found in an old poplar log.
The larva managed to finish feeding in khlebin and yesterday
a live beetle was found in the container. I can't get a picture yet - the cameras are under repair.

The only place where I have met this barbel so far (not isolated) is the village of Vityazevo near Anapa. On the other hand, I've never specifically searched for it, so I guess it's not uncommon there.
