Friends, in continuation of the topic of record holders in the world of insects, in particular beetles, I offer this survey. In fact, this question is very ambiguous.
Let me start singing - I vote for the woodcutter-titan.

Hercules is slightly longer than Titan due to its huge horn, but Titan is significantly more massive.
But the longest beetle is not hercules, but macrodontia cervicornis - 178mm.

Czech book "The Most Beautiful beetles of the Tropics" 1980 - - - - in 1970, Brazilian barbel specialist Ubira Martins caught a titan 22 cm.

Of course, Titanus giganteus. The network has a photo of an instance with a maximum length of 167168 mm.
But the photo of hercules is more than 161 162 did not pop up anywhere, although the info slips that the maximum length is up to 170 mm.

I heard from a respected Brazilian that he personally saw 2 Hercules close to 200mm in the Manaus Museum.
I don't know how close they are, but they are larger than 180mm.

I wonder if it's true or not

I also heard from him that in one of the issues of Revista Superinteressante magazine there
was a photo of titanus 220-230 mm.
