Places and times of dragonfly fly

My question has been hanging for a month now... What, doesn't anyone know anything about this? I'll share my thoughts. Dragonflies can be found both near water bodies (here their diversity is greatest), and far from them (at a distance of several kilometers). I noticed that there are more dragonflies of different wings near water bodies, and far from them there are enough equal-winged ones, although the variety of both is still greater near water bodies. But I would like to know exactly where and when you can meet certain types of dragonflies in Ukraine. They are active mainly during the day, and most advise catching them sleeping in the morning, but can this be done with the same success in the evening, when dragonflies settle down for the night (otherwise they don't really want to get up early )? I've heard that they're just as passive then as they were this morning. This raises another question: after how many hours is it better to do this? Thank you very much for your answers!

Getting up early is a necessary habit for any hunter without it. And to expect that straight dragonflies will meet sitting as if on a platter is also not very justified, they are found, but very rarely. It is much easier to catch a dragonfly with a net, including flying, because there are some dragonflies that simply do not sit down ever during their hunting.
