Colleagues, I need to catch Bolitophagus reticulatus, can you tell me when it is best to catch them?
I just looked through a bunch of birch tinder boxes and didn't find a single beetle. Maybe now is not the season for them?

Beetles are long-lived and can be found now. If not on fresh Fomes, look for old, populated ones. There will be larvae and beetles. If, suddenly, there are only larvae, they are easily hatched. Put the tinder box in the container and wait...
