I've seen this article, but I haven't read it thoroughly. Hurtful. Well, what can you say about the churches?

It took a long time to reach me))) So, without any guarantee, but taking into account the position of the tooth distal to the middle of the cerca, the range of P. a. transiens and the relatively short distance from Almaty and its environs to Termez (1000 km) - according to Korsunovskaya, and the appearance-according to pyrgus.de, we conclude that this is P. a. transiens.

Please help me identify the grasshopper. Large (40-50mm), nocturnal, predatory species.
05/10/1978 Yu.Turkmenistan, Badkhyz, Eroylanduz VP
was previously defined as Lezina mutica (Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888) = Magrettia mutica syn. (Anostostomatidae). Isn't that right?
In the CC of Turkmenistan (2011), it is classified as a sem. Stenopelmatidae (?) with the Russian name "Norovyi Grasshopper". Although this is not a grasshopper (it turns out) in the narrow sense. Experts ' explanations about the family and the correct Russian name will be gratefully accepted.
It is also listed as a rare species, although I would not call it rare in Yeroyalanduz. Photos on the Internet, however, found the only one and not without difficulty.

Good afternoon!
This is Oedipoda caerulescens. It is easy to distinguish it from sphingonotus - the keel on the pronotum is sharply interrupted by one transverse groove (clearly visible in profile), the upper keel of the rear (jumping) thigh with a sharp ledge, the wings with a black sling.

Yes, it looks similar. Do you need to specify something or take a photo to accurately determine it?

I think it's the usual Conocephalus discolor. Ruspolia have a slightly different shape of the forehead and elytra, and the pronotum is without a stripe. We need better photos!

well, no, this is clearly not a Gumpsoclace. You can see that Tettigonia.
