It doesn't look like it, but I don't know yet. Our caninus are not so dark.

The first one has already been identified correctly, and the second, perhaps, is Mylabris sibirica.

I go out to Poecilus (s. str.) subcoeruleus (Quensel in Schönherr, 1806), but in my heart I don't know. what a beast it is... It is similar to P. (Ancholeus) crenulige, but it is disconcerting that the keels go on both the 2nd and 3rd segments of the antennae.

Caught in a soil trap, Saratov region, Saratovsky district, state farm "Spring", in plantings of Cucumis sativus. Female

What about subspecies
http://www.biolib.cz/en/taxon/id11660/

Is it really possible to define Kharkiv before the subspecies?

07.09.2010 0:48, Fornax13

Go for it ) Only 5 Gottinggensis species are listed for one of the subspecies. I, of course, understand that France. But IMHO this is too much. Moreover, with their variability in sculpture, etc
. By the way, there is also a fauna of Ukraine on chrysomelines-perhaps something should be written about subspecies there.

22-Harpalus latus or H. winkleri (rather the first one-look at the epipleura: latus is pitch-brown or black, and winkleri is brown-red or brown-yellow) if the size is more than 7-7. 5 mm, and if less - H. luteicornis. If you have a copy , run it through your theses.
