Then not tibialis. I immediately thought of her, because the external pits on the pronotum are deep.
Where did you catch it?

This is still tibialis. I went too far with the size. Caught near Fanipol Minsk region in a wheat field.

And the Coraebus elatus zlatka ? Also near Moscow, and also removed today. Also about seven millimeters in size. I was sitting on a hazel tree.

And the agrilus, by the way, may not be bad, even quite. Try to get more points. A. kaluganus can live on a hazel tree, and it seems that your beetle looks like it.

Tell me, please, what kind of staphylin. Philonthus cognatus ? Moscow region, 09.09.2017.

Ph. cognatus without options - the color of the first antenna number immediately gives out.

something heavy group, did not go immediately )))
another representative of skrytnoyedov.
much darker and the shape of the structures is clearly different. But I can't find the sclerites, maybe they pop out or stay somewhere outside of what I extract )
Alexey, will there be any options? Regarding the first one, I agree with the definition.
In this case, the median denticle is not sharp, but as if slightly expanded. The thickening on the posterior edge has a small denticle. ... maybe spadiceus?

heavy is not the right word, and I didn't like them either... at least by external signs, which are quite variable. But in this case, I think that this is again obsoletus, only already normally colored. In spadiceus, the parameres are wider/shorter/more rounded or something + the top of the aedeagus is different, its sides are notched only in front of the pre-apical teeth.

20.09.2017 20:09, akulich-sibiria

Ilya, you have the Krasnoyarsk Territory listed for Larinus (Phyllonomeus) rectinasus Petri, 1907...Maybe there is still Krasnodar? Otherwise, it somehow falls out of the rest of the above regions.
And then I something zaopredelalsya and with their sturnusy climbed not there. )))
Something fovelike dots and double dotted pronotum are very confusing. There is a male, tomorrow I will turf)

For the Krasnoyarsk Territory, it is given by M. E. Ter-Minasyan (1967).

So there is a possibility that it can be found from the Crimea to the Krasnoyarsk Territory)

So there is a possibility of either an erroneous label, or an erroneous definition, or that this is not an independent species at all, but some form of sturnus. It's a muddy story, although it's still worse with smile.gifthe yaytsey group

And we have more often vittata... frown.gif And about light / dark individuals - it can show through the body, and killed and dried ones generally "lose" color
