5. Pterostichus strenuus/diligens. It is necessary to look at the punctuation of the sides of the prothorax - if there is a strenuus, no-diligens

I tried to shoot this bug from the side. It's hard to see, but there doesn't seem to be any dotted lines. It turns out diligens?

Once again, a photo of the beetle from above (Length - 5,5 mm)

I tried to lighten it, for me there is a dotted line, where there is an arrow... Look with your eyes under magnification.

1 - Orchestes rusci
2 - cf. Ptenidium
5 - in the latest catalog it is called pedellus. And the "real" fimetarius (=cardinalis) does not seem to reach the European part at all. Although there with their nomenclature now the devil himself will break his leg: https://www.zobodat.at/pdf/LBB_0047_1_0459-0489.pdf

Please tell me, is this Cryptocephalus octopunctatus with a non-standard pattern on the chest? Georgia, Gori, May 1.

user posted image

It may be Cryptocephalus prusias Suffrian, 1853
Here is its description from an unpublished work by Lopatin
The body is large, expanded posteriorly. The head and pronotum are black, small spots near the upper inner edge of the eyes, 2 spaced spots in the posterior half of the disc and an oblong spot near the lateral edge on each side of the pronotum are yellow or reddish-yellow. The elytra are orange with three black spots (2, 1), of which 2 anterior ones are located below the humeral tubercle, and the posterior ones are approximately in the middle and closer to the suture. The bottom is black. The first 3 segments of the antennae are red from below. The ends of the forelegs, and sometimes the underside, are red.
Forehead in a very thick wrinkled dotted line. The pronotum is noticeably narrowed anteriorly, with widely turned, wrinkled-punctuated lateral margins, its disc is strongly convex, covered with moderately thick, shallow dots, and the spaces between the dots with the smallest wrinkles and dots. The elytra are shiny, in deep and coarser points than on the pronotum, with slightly convex intervals. Antennae are long, their 5-10 th segments are 4 times longer than their thickness.
Western and Central Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. South-eastern part of the Balkan Peninsula, Bulgaria, Turkey. Beetles on an oak tree
