yes, the reproductive system of caterpillars is already laid, but I have never heard of sex determination in caterpillars

In unpaired silkworm caterpillars, it is very easy to determine the sex: the caterpillars from which the females will come out are always twice as large, especially in the last age. I think they are not the only ones.
