The caterpillar is similar to H. armigera.
You should take photos of the caterpillars from several angles, and it is also desirable to have a forage plant.

More precisely, these are the steppes of the Trans-Urals, the Baimaksky district of Bashkortostan.

I write at 3 am... I can't sleep. I looked at the lamp -( the door to the balcony is open) - and there is something so tiny sitting in an incomprehensible position with legs like a praying mantis!.. - I took it off and immediately put it out. I'm sorry for the quality - it's my pain that there is no macro lens. I took a photo from a distance of 1 meter - it doesn't focus any closer.
I'm even at a loss to define the family of this mikrushechki; but I hope for your knowledge. Well,-and on the Hippopotamus Cat especially. It is very special and cute, this "moth"! smile.gif

Caloptilia, looks like azaleella, although it is not specified for the Caucasus. But you have rhododendrons, so why not.

I doubt the definition of mother-of-pearl. Please help, Sakhalin 6 August, yesterday.

It's more of a male Arg. laodice japonica, as far as can be judged without the underside and without seeing the wing cutout properly.

Hello, Vlad. Thank you very much.
- The nearest wild yellow Rhododendron (Rhododendron luteum) from my house is located at a distance of 1750 meters, on Mount Zheleznaya.
"So it could have been blown away by the wind?" "does that happen?"
- And I also want to ask, can someone tell me-why does she need such original fringes on the shins of her front paws? "I just read that' Hairs that help detect and amplify any vibrations and instantly respond to danger ' - so that's what she has them for?" - I put my finger close to it - no reaction!
"Maybe these brushes are for some other purpose?"

It is even known from the 8th region-it seems, because of cultural rhododendrons.

Something I like so much about this family - Moth-moth (Gracillariidae)!
I got into my, like, photo database here - and I wanted to identify these crumbs too!
Everything was taken from us on KMV-specifically for the light in an apartment on the 5th floor, on the outskirts of Yessentuki. There, near the house, mountain meadows began on very light soils and a hornbeam-oak forest on chernozem.
The shooting date is signed.
"I think the 1st and 4th are the same thing, and the second monster is just wonderful!" "I've never seen such shaggy curly butterflies before!" - isn't it amazing!?

I can't resist presenting the remains of my molelike creatures to the pyro in the hope of a definition.
Everything was taken from us on KMV. Dates in file names.
I specifically turned the images to 180gr. to make it easier to compare with the straightened samples.
