I'm all about my tropical bedbugs. Costa Rica.
I would venture to assume that this is Oncopeltus or Dysdercus.

Question about bedbugs. Rezeny 22.04.08.
Elongated (S7306412) something like Berytinus, although I don't know-5
mm Shield is especially interesting, the first time I catch this I especially liked the white spots on the edge of the pronotum – 7 mm
And the predator larva or something, and whose ? Thank you in advance. smile.gif

I ask for your advice, if it is not difficult.

04.05.2008 16:14, Nozer

In the photo 1 it seems to be Palomena prasina.
2 - some kind of predator (Reduviidae)
3-I think Graphosoma lineatum

Thank you, we will wait for Mr. Tentator, and compare your opinion with his pros. smile.gif

04.05.2008 18:13, Tentator

1 -- Palomena, but the species cannot be determined. If the lateral edges of the pronotum are convex, the 2nd segment of the antennae is clearly longer than the third, then P. viridissima, and if the lateral edges are straight or concave and the 2nd segment is of equal length with the 3rd, then P. prasina.
2 -- Rhynocoris iracundus.
3 -- Graphosoma lineatum.

I'll get in with my bedbugs. If it is not difficult, please indicate the families as well. Moscow Region, Istra district.
Thank
you. P. S. I apologize for the rotten macro photography, at higher magnification IT refuses to focus.

And you attach a macro lens or at least a magnifier with a thin glass and IT will become trouble smile.giffree

P. S. I apologize for the rotten macro photography, at higher magnification IT refuses to focus.

In the simplest cases, you can use a regular lens, even if you hold it in front of the lens in your hand. wink.gif You can also use old lenses (inverted), such as Helios, Jupiter, etc., they can even give excessive magnification.
The second bug is, in my opinion, one of the ground beetles (Lygaeidae).

Trapezonotus sp. In the previous photo, of course, a mundungus; I didn't think there could be problems with the family.

YLena, this S3 IS such a photo gave? What is the size of the animals?

Yes, Canon S3... + Raynox DCR-250 smile.gif
The first - somewhere 6-7 mm (without a mustache), the second-probably 3 ... looked like a small fluff from a dandelion runs smile.gifAnd I don't know HOW I noticed it. But they both flatly refused to stop for a couple of seconds and pose... smile.gif

The first picture doesn't open for me. On the second one, probably Phyllomorpha; complex with larvae...

Of course, this is Phyllomorpha. In Israel, there are both species of this genus: Ph. lacerata and Ph. laciniata. I do not know what kind of view is shown in your photo.

Or Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale (if the keel on mesosternite does not reach the middle basins) or Elasmostethus sp. (if it does) -- most likely, E. interstinctus.

Yes, it looks like it is. What ribs are you confused about? Color of the abdominal rim? In this type, it is contrasting, and the width of the stripes can be variable.
