Hello everyone
Here is a beetle of the genus Geotrupes.
The story is as follows.
During the Soviet era, this geotrup was driven in large quantities "to the west" from Talysh (where it is not uncommon) like G. caspius (which, by the way, it doesn't look like, but nevertheless).
After some time, comrades "there" calculated this case and described it as a type of Geotrupes fausti.
Due to the lapse in time, I can't check at the moment whether it's G. fausti or something else right now.
And if not, what, and what is Geotrupes caucasicus now and where does it live?
Thank you in advance.
