This species is now included in the subgenus Diocarabus.
The range of the species includes: the Far East, Korea, and northeastern China.
There are about eight subspecies.
I haven't caught it myself yetfrown.gif

Got it, thanks.
I am interested in how much he is caught on DV now... and whether there are any other types with which it can be confused visually.

Forest view. Russia is captured by the northern border of the range. It is found only in the extreme south of Primorye in broad-leaved and mixed forests along the middle course of the Kedrovaya River. In Primorye, it is rare and sporadic. The main range extends to North and South Korea, and South China. All subspecies (8) were described from 1983 to 2003. We have a nominative subspecies. In the latest list of Carabidae in Russia, the species is placed in the subgenus Coreocarabus Imura, 2002. It was previously listed in the subgenus Diocarabus. Interestingly, in the catalog Deuve, 2004, the species is not even listed for the territory of Russia. I don't have one, I didn't catch it myself. In appearance, it can hardly be confused with other species on our territory. As for the occurrence of the taxon, we should wait for comments from our Far Eastern colleagues.

Somewhat similar to C. (Diocarabus) aurocinctus.
But that species has a bright border.
If you are going to catch it, take everything that falls into the traps,
Then you can exchange.

in my opinion, it looks very similar to Loshnikov, although I only saw fratekulatus in the picture frown.gif

Or maybe he even got into the lists for Russia just as a proviso? This is often the case with taxa that "can be found".

If we have already touched on this topic, here is a picture of fraterculus from Primorye.

So, it still comes in.

To my shame, I did not collect this animal, it is found only in the Khasansky district - quite rare. I've seen copies from under Zanadvorovka, but next year I'll try to pay attention to it, but for now I need to go to the BPI to read labels from Lafer.

Sorry, I wrote.

Still, I collected it, the beast is really rare, collected a little, goes into traps only in a certain place, there are a lot of traps nearby, but it doesn't climb into them.
