Community and Forum → Taxonomy. Classification → Unpainted beetles, how often do they come across?

On another thread, I was well advised that my suspiciously light Agabus is most likely an undyed copy, and in this case it fits perfectly in A. sturmi.
I want to ask those whose hands have passed more beetles than mine, how often do such unpainted beetles come across?
And are there any preferences for individual families?
Thank you in advance for your information.
