Where to buy exotic insects?

Community and ForumEntomological collectionsWhere to buy exotic insects?

Dear experts, please share your experience. How do you get exotics from the islands, Central America, South America, and Asia? Since I'm a beginner, I don't know how to contact or find the right address. Surely you have paths to these insects from these countries. I went to the Angus and French farms , they told me "Come on cards" What should I do?

And tell me, and then on all sites-an order of at least 100 bucks. but it's too much for me..

It's easier with the card. But find out from "firmachey", maybe you can send a money transfer. smile.gif

Get a visa, for example, from Sberbank smile.gif
Although, of course, it is in Sberbank that I would not do this.

If anyone has used these methods , please comment.
There is a huge selection of different insects there. Can someone correspond with private owners.

try to combine the useful with the pleasant and go to Prague for bursa. There's everything for cash, from all over the world! and look at the country at the same time...smile.gif)

What kind of insects are we talking about, butterflies or beetles or something else?

30.11.2006 8:47, andros

We are talking about sailboats.

30.11.2006 8:48, andros

And there is no way to go to Prague yet.

30.11.2006 14:22, RippeR

If only you could ride around the world..

By the way, my friend has a lot of sailboats from the former Soviet Union, which ones are needed, I can ask around?

30.11.2006 15:49, andros

Parnasius eversmani, Parnasius autocrator, Papilio alexanor. You are welcome.

30.11.2006 16:18, taler

Papilio alexanor-since when did he suddenly become from the territory of the USSR? no.gif Parnasius autocrator-not a weak request lol.gifis the most real Parnasius eversmani

30.11.2006 18:34, RippeR

I must say right away - the autocrator disappears, since it did not catch itself. I'll ask about the others.

Papilio alexanor-since when did he suddenly become from the territory of the USSR?
Always was. And in the Red Book of the USSR, too. Kyrgyzstan, Transcaucasia, and Central Asia.

Sailboats are my weakness, when you look at them, you can imagine exotic islands and countries.I recall the stories of famous entomologists. Since there is such an opportunity to contact experts ,connoisseurs of butterflies, why not ask about the rarest species. Here...

If there is a lot of money, then it may still be possible to find it, but the price for the reptile is colossal, as far as I remember (or am I getting used to it?)

30.11.2006 22:14, Bad Den

About 150-200 killed raccoons

30.11.2006 22:17, andros

There is not much money, but it is possible to negotiate. Maybe in the spring, I can do what I can at our latitude, terrain. Our Parnasius apollo population has increased dramatically. There is Limenitis populi .Some other types.

Do you have the opportunity to get a live culture of your apollo? Eggs, for example.
I could offer a number of types of tropical sailboats in return, morfid, saturnium.
In general, directly buying exotics abroad is a troublesome business. Small purchases are expensive. First - commission for money transfer, second-payment for delivery (paid by the buyer), and third - if you are lucky, customs duty (if the parcel is evaluated). Here are some problems. frown.gif

Breeding was not engaged, I can put any number but in the summer.

03.12.2006 8:23, andros

By the way, there are sites that sell wholesale, if you can chip in not expensive at all to buy something.

Let us know your email address, please, and we will discuss the details of the future exchange (apollo eggs for exotics). beer.gif

So after all, it is in your personal data, please write.

He doesn't answer for some reason.
During this time, I found it.
Now the eastern subspecies of the swallowtail are interisected.

Look next to the topic "I want to breed tropical butterflies".
And so I myself take the tropics from Chelpanov or Zakurkin, you can order them directly, but it is unpredictable whether customs will let you through on time. They are displayed however. And in winter, they can still freeze.
Chelpanov's address -
http://babochka.umbura.com/pupae.html
Palaearctic (sailboats) visit me regularly. This is in PM if you want.

I can order dry stuff. I'll charge you money for the delivery and search for the right insects. I'm currently in Malaysia and will be in Thailand in a few days. I'll be in Moscow in a week.
