user posted imageRider Enicospilus ramidulus. It lays eggs in the body of caterpillars. The larvae feed first on the fat body and hemolymph of the host, then eat vital organs, leading to its death. Before pupating, they gnaw through the skin of the host, crawl out, burrow into the soil and weave a silky cocoon here, from which a large yellow rider subsequently emerges.
The picture was taken in the Astrakhan region.

And who told you it was Opion luteus? The photo clearly shows sclerotized spots in the radial cell of the forewings (under the pterostigma), which clearly indicates that this rider belongs to the genus Enicospilus. Now there is no determinant at hand, and I am not sure that in the European part of the country there is something besides E. ramidulus (L.), although for Europe at least a couple of other species (undulatus, merdarius) are indicated.
