I can't really see how many subspecies there are in total?

E.do beccarii and E. koletta look the same? only colette is darker?

Thank you.
Very interesting.
It turns out the dark form of beccarii is koletta?
I was offered just this one.

This book contains only these types. I do not know, and I have not seen the Eupatorus koletta species.

Found 1 more photo of E. endoi
Why is there so little information about it on the Internet? not to mention selling it.
What book should I look up about him in?
it looks like siamensis bifidus.

When you get all the copies in your hands, pull the males ' genitals, perhaps this will clarify the picture. Well, or get this edition somewhere:

But E. endoi (Nagai, 1999)was described in 99.
Is it in this book?

I have the original book ENDRÖDI (S.) 1985. The Dynastinae of the World

Please explain what determines the color variation. From being wet?
Both upper and lower beetles were caught in the 1st place and in 1 year. Vietnam, Sapa.
Why are the lower ones so dark and shallow, while the upper ones are much lighter and larger?
The upper ones are caught later than the lower ones.

Also there are generally almost white, and with dirty stripes.

Does anyone have E. gracilicornis from Malaysia?
Or has anyone ever caught them there?
There is infa that they were there povymirali, the last 7-10 years almost disappeared.
Can someone confirm or deny it?

02.01.2015 0:41, DYNASTES

In Malaysia, they seem to be known only from Frasers Hill, and then over the past 20 years they were found there a couple of times.

On some forum I read in the summer that under the nickname mybugs on EBAY, the dealer sold one from there for $5900

Well, the one on ebee is a subspecies described in 2013.

http://oi60.tinypic.com/2lma33o.jpg

I only know of 2 pairs, one caught in Genting Highlands, the other in Fraser hills.

Before the subspecies was described, some books listed all of Malaysia as part of the nominative range.
I wonder based on what.
