Called Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, the ticket costs $16 per person. Reviews on the Internet are very contradictory.

There are few live butterflies, they are there, but there are very few of them. Lots of pupae behind the glass.

Butterflies fly in a very small courtyard in the open air, dense bushes on all sides, a grid on top, as a result, there is not a breeze inside! And a couple of fans-it doesn't make the weather worse. I really like the heat, but it was not just hot, but very stuffy, sweating profusely, the main task was not to drown the camera, otherwise it was dripping with terrible force from my eyelashes. My husband was sent to rest on a bench under the fan, and I went chasing butterflies, since it was my idea - and I suffer!

Pupae and butterflies. All this is behind the glass, which strongly glares and is located in the most shady place. So it's almost impossible to make something intelligible.

Just to see - it was interesting, some of the pupae are like real jewelry. smile.gif

Yes, then this is a chrysalis park, not a butterfly park. But it's still interesting.Thank you.

Thank you for your interesting report! Terribly expensive "pleasure" - 530 rubles.! In the houses of live butterflies of St. Petersburg, flour of similar species can be viewed for an average of 200 rubles., well, of course, in closed rooms or greenhouses.

There are also insects and a museum with collections attached.

In Singapore, prices for everything are especially humane, and on Sentosa they especially "bite", this is true. But I really wanted to see if there would be something exciting! shuffle.gif

At the end of the butterfly courtyard, there was a door to a room where there were glass boxes with beetles. Unfortunately, it was almost dark. All that we managed to shoot.

There are quite a lot of beetles in each box and they are all crawling, rustling, fussing. Watching is interesting, photographing is agony, so I gave up trying when the gallery ran out of windows, and they ended very quickly, somewhere near the third drawer. frown.gif

But it was to take a walk and watch that I was interested, I can't say a bad word here. Beetles are much more than butterflies and there are no dead ones, everyone is so cheerful.

When the beetle gallery ended, something like a museum began. I really love museums. smile.gif

Of the minuses-the lighting there is terrible, of course. And it is dim in itself, and the combination of incandescent lamps on the ceiling with fluorescent lamps on the walls makes it completely impossible to choose the shooting mode. And the glass is very shiny, very bright. So "don't shoot the piano player, he plays as well as he can!".

Here I photographed all the butterflies, but some frankly did not work out, there was not enough light, so I will show what is left.

On these "wings and legs" I had to puff a flash through the glass, well, at least so. I couldn't leave without trophies, I really like them.
