I didn't find a topic on these beetles. And Vel is a whole family...
So I decided to create it.

The male was collected on 23.06.2015. Here: Russia, Moscow region, Balashikha district, okr. der. Fedurnovo, a swampy meadow in the floodplain of the Chernaya River, exposed to UV light (en masse). leg. Feoktistov V. I.
Female brood.
Larva collected on 02.05.2002, Russia, Moscow region, Balashikha district, okr. der. Poltevo, mixed forest, in last year's leaf litter.
Imago release on 16.05.2002 In captivity, the larva was fed on earthworms, which it cracked with great pleasure
