This should be thrown off (or duplicated) on the forum Web resources, but it is desirable to give a description in a little more detail.

Very good site! Thank you very much!

The usefulness of the resource is quite obvious. I sincerely wish the author success. At the same time, it should be noted that there are many reserves for improvement. Both in terms of the form and content of the site.

In addition to the rather timid domestic pages on ants, there are links to a huge portal http://www.antweb.org and http://www.evergreen.edu/ants / with hundreds of freaky photos in car editing. Capitalism....

Although it is a bit offtopic, but what is not" timid " entomological posted in Runet? Just enough fingers of one hand to count. I. I'm afraid it's not about capitalism, because under socialism there would not have been a runet smile.gifat all

From nerobky - try going to http://www.zin.ru/Animalia/Coleoptera/ , you'll be surprised.

And as for capitalism and socialism-this is not at all a topic, because: a) history does not recognize the subjunctive mood; b) ruin - it is, as you know, in the heads.

03.02.2006 15:02, гость: Дзанат

From the opposite
b) the head, as everyone knows, is the head, and the arms and legs and other parts of the body, if you follow your logic.
a) history is not a subjective concept and the subjunctive mood is not acceptable.

Well, I'm talking about the same thing. It's not socialism, capitalism, etc. that matters, but the head first of all. If there is no interested party, then nothing will be done.

Dear friends!
The design of the site has been updated, as well as new sections have been added and new information has been added to existing ones.
Welcome to my website at ants!

Yes, now the site looks much better. It looks pretty good. At first glance, it seems to me that it would be better to put less exclamation marks (or rather remove them altogether) and change the link " Authors "to" Author " (since the author is in the singular). Of course, it would not be worth using a frame structure (this is not modern), but now what is it. Further, it is not good to write like this: EDWARD WILSON (1929 - ). The page of the Davrvinism department was recently redone and the link to information about Dlussky leads nowhere.

http://myrmecology.narod.ru/ - Nice website.
I also looked at the link to the Western pages-the scale, of course...
By the way, interest in ants in the United States has greatly increased, it seems, after the release of the autobiography "Naturalist" by Wilson E. I did not meet it in Russian, but it's a pity - the book is interesting. So, Wilson is the one who developed the idea of sociobiology, which some Soviet science turned against at one time. Wilson's goal in life was to write a book that could kill a person if they fell from the second floor. His "Sociobiology" and " Ants "(co-authored with Halldobbler) are just such magnum opus's smile.gif

Another site on ants - http://ants.dp.ua

By the way, the site is quite decent, has a lot of informative information and is updated frequently.

Attention!
The site about ants has been updated and new information has been added.
But I would especially like to highlight a new forum on this site, where you can communicate with colleagues with similar interests, and an electronic library where you can download books and articles about ants in electronic format.

Site address: http://myrmecology.narod.ru/

Sincerely, Mikhail Sarapiy.

Yes, the site has become even better, that's for sure. Although, as we all perfectly understand, there are no limits to perfection. I would pay attention to improving the photo images. By processing them with software, you can significantly increase their "marketable" appearance. "INFORMATION ABOUT THE PRINTED WORK" - it is better to replace it with "Bibliographic description".

The section on links is not bad. Stunningly wonderful among Russian school sites http://lasius.narod.ru/. Less interesting http://ants2004.narod.ru/. The information content of the latter is not too high, and the GIF animation is completely obscene in size (more than 200 kb!).
