Dear colleagues!
The St. Petersburg State Forestry Engineering Academy named after S. M. Kirov and the Russian Entomological Society invite you to take part in the second readings in memory of forest entomologist O. A. Kataev, which will be held on November 26-28, 2008 at the Department of Zoology and Hunting Studies of St. Petersburg State University of Forestry and Forestry (5 Institutsky Lane, St. Petersburg).
The purpose of the readings is to attempt to revise and generalize modern forest-entomological knowledge and discuss key research areas in the field of ecology of dendrophagous insects.
Application form for participation in the readings:
1. Last name, first name, patronymic.
2. Academic degree, title.
3. The submitted organization (with its full name and address).
4. Contact phone number, e-mail.
5. Abstract of the report up to 0.5 pages.
6. Accommodation (hotel, SPbGLTA hostel).
7. A personal invitation (if necessary, with instructions on how to send it).
The materials of the reports will be published in a separate edition after the readings.
The registration fee is accepted upon registration of participants and amounts to 1000 rubles. The registration fee includes participants ' meals (lunch) and publication of the report materials.

Applications are accepted until October 1, 2008.
The second information letter with the program of readings and requirements for the design of printed materials will be sent to participants after October 10.
