I don't doubt it. Such ambitions and confidence in the unshakeability of their own conclusions do not grow out of the blue. smile.gif What was the topic called?

Congratulations. In ZINA, and even at Kerzhner's, it would probably be unrealistic to write a "different" work. It's a pity that Izyaslav Moiseevich left so early...

Here people are lucky - the abstract of the candidate's thesis is more than 30 pages. In the EAC council, everything is strictly limited to 1 printed sheet (40 thousand characters or 16 pages). Just spin around as you want. Although, maybe it's even better this way.
PS: If so, then Dina Rogatnykh should also be congratulated. Pozddravlyayu.

And more... It is very correct that I. M. is not framed in the abstract.

Gentlemen, thank you all for your congratulations!
To a guest at about the author's abstracts. You see, dissertation councils are like people: some live by reason, others by traditions and prescriptions from above. The volume of the abstract of 16 pages is a little-understood in our daysovdepovskaya installation, developed in those distant times, when the printing of the abstract was paid by the organization in which the sausage maker was, so that three rubles and forty kopecks per person, according to the principle of Mrs. Belladonna: "less is possible, more-no-no!". I printed my own abstract with Captain Grant's money.
Of course, the abstract should not be too large, but dissertations on certain topics simply cannot be squeezed into 16 pages. For example, if you remove all the phylogeny drawings from my abstract, you will be left with about 16-17 pages, but without drawings it will be more difficult to read the text. If you save the figures and reduce the text only to feature matrices, then reading the abstract will become even more complicated.
There is another way, which consists in drawing up a purely formal abstract: "in the first chapter this and that are described, in the second chapter the fifth and tenth are given"; apparently only this way corresponds to the advice of the second type.
As for the frame , I don't know why it might be right or wrong. As far as I understand, only the names of authors should be framed, and only if their works are published before the official obituary is published.
