Plans for 2009!

Community and ForumTravel and expeditionsPlans for 2009!

RippeR, 18.01.2009 1:36

Write down who has any plans, wishes, or dreams about insects. Who wants to catch what, who is going to catch something, who is sure that they will catch something.. Then we will write who executed the program smile.gif

For example, this year I really want to catch Dorcadion religiosum, I hope everything will work out.
I would also like Ropalopus ungaricus, but there is not much hope for it yet..

Ergates faber. I hope to get it out of the larvae.

Yes, I also really want to catch Fabra if I rush to the Carpathians, where I need smile.gifto go

Then the Carpathians: Chernogora, Marmorosh, Gorgany, and Transcarpathia-three points for June and July.
Ropalopus ungaricus-years in the second half of July .We need to look for it near the old maples-yavors.

in secret (they go to the alkglwink.gif)..

Ropalopus ungaricus on alcohol? Is it like digging cups near trees? After all, they crawl on the ground.
But I know the exact places ( where they were reliably caught.)

Nebria picicornis

Rulan do you have a good view? rolleyes.gif Ask me and I'll catch as many of them as you need smile.gif shuffle.gif

Well, I have modest plans to collect a series of two types of ground beetles(or at least males) to describe them... And find someone from the kratkyi complex on the Krasnodar part of the rocky ridge. mol.gif mol.gif mol.gif

Not exactly a very good one, but I haven't found the point yet, so to speak .And as you know, rarely what kind of beetle is really rare, you just need to find a place of concentration. And this is just the most difficult.

18.01.2009 21:10, Dorcadion

This is definitely the most important thing to be in the right place at the right time. I wish you success in your capture beer.gif

18.01.2009 21:38, RippeR

ungars rarely descend.. In Europe, they seem to be not rare and they are caught well there.. and closer to us, very few people purposefully caught them..

19.01.2009 10:45, Papis

Give a couple of Apollo females a drink and try to breed them.
On the site of the clean-up plant, it has been grazing for three years.
The first experiment was unsuccessful. No one came out of the eggs.
If anyone has any experience or information on this issue, I would be grateful.
By the way, if the democrat and, say, korshunovi or churkini cross what happens? Will the genes float or not?

19.01.2009 20:14, taler

When I was in Altai, I met a man(Sergey) from Voronezh. He's in the process of breeding Apollons.Specially came to the Altai for the local subspecies that would " mix the blood). From his story, I realized that with prolonged reproduction of the democratus, it degenerates(from year to year, a smaller output from eggs).Unfortunately, Sergey's data is lost, but it is possible to restore it.

From the plans-To finally find the promised BadDeny Batocera rufomaculata instead of the destroyed cat .You can also visit the points of Aleksanorov and Alyankastriy

Not only in this species, in all species, closely related crossing, imbrinding...

There are still two wishes:
1 Catch Colisthenes Fischer again. In nature, this animal leaves an indelible impression. In three months of Mongolia, I only caught a couple of them in different places. Other people caught them in series (more than a hundred pieces). But this is almost a pipe dream. Oats are expensive these days.
2. Finally complete the insectarium. Under it, I set aside a room of 10 squares. But so far there are only bare walls. I have some experience in breeding stick insects, crickets, and cockroaches. I want to continue.

20.01.2009 12:30, Динусик

I would like to catch Omophron aequalis again. I caught only 6 copies during the whole time. And for one and seasonal dynamics to study them. In general, the plans for coastal habitats to work out as much as possible, and then you look, and interesting things will come across.
The findings of Drypta ussuriensis Microlestes fissuralis and Chlaenius posticalis would be very pleasing. I haven't seen the last one myself yet. So far so modest smile.gif

20.01.2009 12:35, Stas Shinkarenko

I want to find Dixus eremita, a rare ground beetle in our area, this year I found one, but I couldn't photograph it properly. I want to re-photograph all the ground beetles of the Lower Volga region, in nature, of course.

Well, let's dream too smile.gif... I would like to try to catch the Carabus (Morphocarabus) regalis eltoni Obydov, 2006, which was described from the adjacent territories of the Tver region, and look for Cicindela silvatica and Cicindela maritima in our region... And in general, I want to catch more iteres beetles...

A couple of new carabuses and 10 new barbel species. And which ones exactly confused.gif confused.gif. Just new to the collection for the fauna of RM, as well as GPSIT for more points.

20.01.2009 14:45, Dmitry Vlasov

Catch up to the dreams of Anthrenus, a-Carabus coriaceus, C. clathratus, C. convexus, Cicindela germanica, Amara subplanata (jakowlewi), Calosoma investigator, Calosoma auropunctatum, the list goes on ... (All of them NEED to be caught in the Yaroslavl region).
In general ," for the fulfillment of dreams!!!"

Anthrenus, Elizar: Have you ever seen Cicindela sylvatica and Carabus coriaceus razve?
Cicindela germanica by the way, you can try to catch the light in the meadows/along the borders of fields.

21.01.2009 12:12, Alexandr Rusinov

Cicindela silvatica has not been recorded since the 70s of the 20th century, modern points are not known. Carabus coriaceus has 2 finds (1 beetle per point), and should be distributed in a much wider area...

Both species are noted in the Red Data Book of the Yaroslavl region. But Cicindela sylvatica, for example, since the late 60s of the last century, it seems that no one reliably caught in the region.

Well, in addition to the dreams of Anthrenus,a and Elizar, I would like to find Menesia bipunctata in the Yaroslavl region. Otherwise, I only have it from the Moscow region, but it should be at least in the Rostov and Pereslavl districts of the Yaroslavl region.

Yeah, dreams, dreams... How many new and interesting things to catch hunting, and now in winter everything seems so real... If only in the summer everything was as simple as you dream... Although, if you set a specific goal, everything is possible... tongue.gif

Well, I need populations of podaliriya, mantis and dybka in the south of the Tyumen region. And then the observations seem to be there, but there are no instancessmile.gif

21.01.2009 16:24, Трофим

It's a rare thing, I've observed the types. And in the collection I looked, and there on this occasion either a pathetic scrap, or lack of anything at all.
to Elizar & Anthrenus
And you go to the congress, there will be Coriaces rugifer and convexus. But the chichindelas we also listed are not frequent. True Germanic to my surprise caught in the yard.

21.01.2009 17:05, RippeR

germanic is basically common, you just need to look for it correctly smile.gif
coriaceus and convexus are different things for us and them.. They are not just for the collectionwink.gif, especially the nominative of coriaceus is much more beautiful than our skinny rugifer )

And I'd like to find a bipuncture myself.. Buim hope)

my dream is to catch bears in the Omsk region: Kindermann, Rhyparioides metelkana and proserpine ...

I want to make the main slope for catching carabuses in the Tula region, especially I want to catch C. sogiaceis(can someone tell me the places). Also, sometime in July, I plan to go to the Black Sea coast.I haven't decided yet where, either to the Crimea,or closer to Sochi,Khosta. There I would very much like to find a Caucasian ground beetle.

30.01.2009 9:22, Papis

C.sogiaceis fell into glasses on the bank of the Volga River in the vicinity of Ples in a small-leaved (aspen-birch) forest. A friend told me that there is a population between Vladimir and Yuryevets. The station is about the same, with an admixture of linden.

As for the Kvkaz ground beetle, this is unlikely, it is indicated closest to the sea for the Markotkh ridge, it is necessary to go somewhere under Gelenzhik, but the ridge is inhabited by a xerophilic form and in July the chances of catching it are close to 0, it is better to try in May... shuffle.gif

I want to take pictures in nature, and then catch Agrodiaetus damone tanais, Hemaris croatica. Marumba quercus and Polyommatus boisduvali in 2009 I hope to find. And with the rest-that I will meet-I am glad to that.

06.06.2009 18:19, Yakovlev

Hi all
I dream of catching two things in Altai. I don't say what... since both are new taxa.
And in Mongolia, catch a new type of day butterfly.
Finally catch a cool dipper in Mongolia.
To catch a new type of scoops for my student Anton Volynkin (I carefully read his diploma - 50% of the dissertation) and a new type of leaf beetle for Elena Guskova and a new type of finger fly for Petya Ustyuzhanin.
In general, there is a dream of an idiot to find an apollo endemic to Mongolia. But it doesn't exist. At the very least, something from the Delphius or Apollonius group. Or hypermnestra helios.
there are many dreams!
I really dream about the highlands of the Tarbagatai Mountains. I really dream about the alpine fauna of the Aj - i Baitag-Bogdo (SW Mongolia). I really want to work at Arshantyn-Nuruu Farm from May 15 to June 15. In short very much what I dream
