Hello colleagues. - I really need the email address of Konstantin Alexandrovich Efetov, who, perhaps, will condescend to identify my 2nd pestryanki from the photos. He lives in Crimea. The man is famous and famous not only in entomology.
This email address is invalid-Konst@Efetov.Crimea.UA

- In short, wanted:
Konstantin Aleksandrovich Efetov (born July 18, 1958) is a biologist and biochemist, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Professor, Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Laboratory of Biotechnology of the S. I. Georgievsky Crimean State Medical University.

Biography
Born in Simferopol on July 18, 1958. In 1975, after graduating from high school with a gold medal, he entered the Crimean Medical Institute, which he graduated with honors in 1981. After completing postgraduate studies in 1986, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Stability of the conformation of immunoglobulins G in normal and chronic lymphocytic leukemia" (scientific supervisor-Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Professor G. V. Troitsky). In 1986, he became one of the founders of the hybridome laboratory at KSMU. Since 1986, he worked as a senior, leading, and then chief researcher at KSMU; since 1992-head of the Laboratory of Biotechnology. In 1994, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic " Research of immunoglobulins in normal and pathological conditions using monoclonal antibodies and spectral methods "(scientific consultant-G. V. Troitsky), in which he used insect peptides to study human proteins. Since 1995-Professor, since 1999-Head of the Department of Biochemistry of the Crimean State Medical University.

[edit] The
main areas of research interests of K. A. Efetov are molecular immunology, evolutionary biology and biosystematics. Using spectral methods, he proved the existence of changes in the conformation of human immunoglobulins in malignant neoplasms. For the first time, he proposed using insect proteins and peptides as probe molecules for studying human proteins in normal and pathological conditions. He founded a new scientific direction — monoclonal immunosystematics, which allows us to evaluate the evolutionary relationships between biological species based on the study of their proteins using monoclonal antibodies.

K. A. Efetov described 4 new genera and 10 subgenera of living organisms, discovered 25 biological species[1] [2] living in Japan, Korea, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Myanmar (Burma), New Zealand, India, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Hungary. The results of his research have been repeatedly presented at international congresses and symposia held in different European countries. In 2004, on the basis of the Crimean State Medical University, he organized and held an international symposium "Biology, phylogeny, molecular biology and genetics of Zygaenidae".

K. A. Efetov is the author of 310 scientific papers, including more than 20 monographs and 12 patents for inventions. His scientific works are cited 490 times in 180 publications of scientists from 21 countries of the world in 9 languages (including English, Hungarian, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Japanese). He has prepared 1 doctor and 2 candidate of Sciences, currently (2008) 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations are being carried out under his supervision.

Awards and titles
K. A. Efetov is an academician of the Crimean Academy of Sciences (since 2002), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (since 2004), Chairman of the Crimean Biochemical Society (since 2006), member of the Central Council of the Ukrainian Biochemical Society [3] (since 2006), Vice-president of the Small Academy of Sciences of Crimea[4] (since 1997), member of the Council of the European Lepidopterological Society [5] (since 2005), member of the Union of Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian Writers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

K. A. Efetov was awarded four gold medals for his achievements in the field of biology and medicine: "One Thousand Great Scientists "(Great Britain, 2002)," Outstanding Europeans of the 21st Century "(Great Britain, 2003)," International Scientist of the Year "(Great Britain, 2003)," Medal of Honor " (USA, 2004). He is included in the biographical directories " Who's Who in modern Times "(USA) and" Outstanding Europeans of the 21st Century " (Great Britain). Scientists from Austria, France, Ukraine, and Russia named three biological species (Etroga efetovi Richter, 1994; Zygaenoprocris efetovi Mollet et Tarmann, 2007; Chrysartona efetovi Parshkova, 2007) and a subgenus of living organisms (Efetovia Mollet, 2001) in honor of K. A. Efetov.

K. A. Efetov is also a laureate of the State Prize of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (1996), a laureate of the Prize of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (2000), a laureate of the Prize of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (2008); he was awarded Honorary Certificates of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (1998), the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (1998, 2002), the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine (1998).

K. A. Efetov is a member of the editorial boards of the scientific journals "Tavrichesky Medico-Biological Bulletin "(Ukraine) and " Entomologist's Gazette "(Great Britain), as well as the scientific collection " Problems, achievements and Prospects for the development of medical and biological sciences and practical healthcare (Proceedings of the S. I. Georgievsky Crimean State Medical University)"; is a member of the editorial board of the scientific collection "Bulletin of the Marine Doctor".

Recently, K. A. Efetov has published several books ("The Shocking Secret of the Sistine Chapel "and" The Old Testament Secret of Adam's Rib") and articles (in the journals" Chemistry and Life"," Asclepius"," Discoveries and Hypotheses") devoted to his unusual hypotheses at the intersection of medicine, art and history. In particular, the author claims that Michelangelo's frescoes in the Sistine Chapel contain several "invisible" images, which, when examined, radically change the viewer's ideas about what exactly their creator wanted to say with his frescoes. Another hypothesis is devoted to the interpretation of the biblical myth of the creation of a woman from Adam's rib: the author sees parallels between the details of this myth and the biochemical mechanism of the formation of female sex hormones. These hypotheses received a wide response on the Internet and were even used in the questions of the world championship " What? Where? When?"

In 2006, K. A. Efetov published the poetry collection "The Flap of Wings" (Efetov K. A. The Flap of Wings. Simferopol: CSMU Press, 2006, 64 p. (ISBN 966-7348-22-9). He is also the author of the text of the national anthem, the author of the flag and co-author of the coat of arms of the Crimean State Medical University
