Dear colleagues,

The Organizing Committee invites you to take part in the VIII Interregional Meeting of Entomologists of Siberia and the Far East

The Meeting is planned to discuss the most important problems of entomology in the Siberian region in the following areas::

* Section 1. General Entomology.
* Section 2. Ecology of insects.
* Section 3. Insect pathology and plant protection.
* Section 4. Veterinary and medical entomology.

The Organizing Committee plans to publish the Meeting materials. It reserves the right to select the submitted materials and change the form of the report (oral or poster).

Report materials – no more than 3 full pages should be written in Word format (font Times New Roman 12, interval 1.0, red line 1.25 cm, all fields 2.5 cm; formulas are performed in MS Equation). Abstracts should be submitted in electronic form (file format – surname of the 1st author.rtf; drawings should be submitted as separate files with the same name in gif and jpg formats) plus 1 copy. in printed form.

The registration form and materials of reports should be sent by simple parcel no later than March 1, 2010 to the following address::

The registration fee is 800 rubles. For students and postgraduates who are the main authors, the fee is 400 rubles. Please send the registration fee by April 3, 2010 by postal transfer marked "registration fee for the Meeting of Entomologists of Siberia" to Natalia Korshunova at the address "Institute of Animal Systematics and Ecology SB RAS, Frunze str., 11. Russia. 630091».
The registration fee covers the costs of publishing Meeting materials; individual sets of information documents; coffee, tea breaks and a cultural program (partially).

Materials will not be published or included in the program without timely payment.
