Dear friend, be careful with the wording, okay? Do you have a conceptual framework - how does it work? Do you know what schizophrenia is? If SG does not exist, then people still BEGAN TO DIE EN MASSE from something LOCALLY. It was only in this slightly pretentious way that I advised my colleagues to adequately perceive the information coming from the media and respond appropriately to it. And you can collect BEETLES even on New Year's Eve in a 40-degree frost.

Guys, hold on! I would like to wish the same to my Far Eastern colleagues, we do not have as much as in Ukraine, but the situation is also complicated... It is a personal matter for everyone to believe or not in the existence of this flu, but the fact remains that people are dying, and official sources greatly underestimate these facts. I wish all forumchanam that this trouble would have bypassed them!

IMHO, everything is very bloated, and besides, the elections are just around the corner. So much money is being pulled from the budget for this cartoon. Yes, and pharmacies in Navara-rake everything, even in my city where the epidemic still go and go there are no bandages. And people have died from the flu before, although not so quickly and locally.

I also wish everyone good health (in every sense). Only about the letters and numbers (shown in Fig. in the first message) I can not say anything. I don't believe in these things. And that there may be some virusnyak (not related to agricultural animals), yes.
But so far, I can only say that neither in my village, nor in the neighboring ones, nor in the Rostov house (where I am registered), even rumors have appeared that at least one person " ... died of the flu...".

I thought so too, until three of my relatives were hospitalized in serious condition with bilateral pneumonia. And very sharply against the background of low temperatures. All three of them are young and strong. I do not know what is the correct name for this infection (swine, bird and any other flu or something else), from which our hospitals are overflowing. But to deny its existence already somehow does not work.

we even canceled classes next week because of SG.
But entomologists won't die smile.gif
The main thing is not to get vaccinated - only there will be more chances to get sick smile.gif
And it is also important to be confident in yourself and your condition, and not think that if you get sick, then the garbage will pass by itself, and then everything will be fine!

05.11.2009 16:17, entomolog

Everything is real. They get sick and die. Including those who were young and healthy just a week ago. Therefore, you should not panic, but prevention will not be superfluous.

Unfortunately, for the people, the media is often the last resort. Said and all... And on these pseudo-existing sores, colossal money is made.
But the crowd still believes in this nonsense. So on Tuesday, I counted 23 people in bandages on their faces during the day, caught myself thinking that we should wear a gas mask... smile.gifLet's not get caught up in any nonsense, let's say " NO " to mesophobia and everything will be fine!!!
The phrase about schizophrenia was figurative.
On New Year's Eve, there are no frosts, but on the contrary there is a thaw, and I have slightly different plans for the New Year... wink.gif

Here you go out on the street. and there are a lot of people in masks walking around, well, they don't understand that these masks won't save them on the street - no one is going to spit in their face! Okay, still in transport.. And then they won't save you - everyone touches everything in a row, and masks have nothing to do with it ))

07.11.2009 20:14, Shtil

This is all nonsense, not swine and beef flu. I just arrived from Kiev. Guys, I haven't seen such a stupid panic in a long time. Despite the fact that nothing has been tested or proven, a quarter of the people in masks, you cough, shy away as if from the plague, and some especially socially concerned grandmothers can swear. Well, there are rumors about the pneumonic plague, atypical tuberculosis, and almost about the punishment of heaven from the secret laboratories of the Pentagon.
THIS is not an exaggeration! I have heard all the versions personally, and they are actively circulating among the population. Pharmacies and markets are in chaos. There are no medicines, no masks, lemons and garlic have risen in price (and they say about the latter that it happened not because of the flu, but for some unknown serious economic reasons). Well, you know who catches fish in muddy water. Elections are coming soon, and no one has ever felt sorry for people for such cases.

So don't get sick. Just don't get sick!

The first victims of influenza A/H1N1 in Kiev!!! Today, a citizen of T was taken to the emergency hospital in Kiev. Diagnosis: closed craniocerebral trauma, hematoma of the right eye, multiple blows and abrasions on the body and face. Fracture of the left hand. Patient's comments: I just coughed in the minibus...

I totally agree with Shtil.
There was even an idea - to go into a restaurant, sit down at a table and sneeze-to see how many people immediately run out of there.
The second is to find a few pigs somewhere and walk around the city center on a leash with themsmile.gif. smile.gif

They used to crow, now they grunt, and soon they'll start humming:-)))))))))))))))))
I don't believe in this....... every week there are more deaths from car crashes...in Mexico, then the bandages were distributed to everyone for free...and then there was one person who died...
everyone is kept in fear to manipulate people

I do not agree,
if we leave aside children's (youth) anarchism (we know, everyone was there), then the ability to behave "in public", sneeze and cough into a handkerchief (an ordinary cat. used in the days of my youth, or disposable, to which the world was accustomed to inventive Americans), the thing is not superfluous.
As well as other personal hygiene techniques that are taught to both the child and the dog (go where you need and not where you want) are necessary rules of civilized life.
Live for yourself and let others live.
It is easier to learn a few simple rules than to "give a shit" on the right of another to live without complications.

Unfortunately, we have a different mentality. Infected yourself, infect another! smile.gif

Is everything really so serious in Blagoveshchensk?frown.gif Or true PR.. it died a little against the background of the general trend of annual mutation... This is a retrovirus it mutates like a Kalashnikovfrown.gifassault rifle

And the comparison with" Spanish " is incorrect... These deaths can be easily avoided with modern (even symptomatic) treatment. As far as I remember, according to my ancestors, the "Spaniard" was disgusted with the delayed difficulties of sight and hearing. That was a monstrous number... But we must remember that the First World War, revolutions, famine. The virus hit the fertile ground....

A lot of people are really sick. And the disease is severe with complications, worse than the usual flu. At the expense of PR, I'm not very sure, rather on the contrary – the real picture is being hidden. We have a different situation here, since there are no elections in Ukraine, but there is a border, and they don't want to close it – this is how much money will be lost! No one thinks about people. Doctors do not diagnose the flu, they put SARS. But the signs are all on the face. I won't use the term "dead"-it's somehow in relation to people. And the dead really are, only they are diagnosed with any diagnosis – diabetes, stroke, pneumonia, etc.

The flu virus is not related to retroviruses, it belongs to the orthomyxovirus family:

Yes the last post is a bomb. Something like a fly that pins people to death.
There are two things that a person cannot design - the day of birth and the day of death. Who is destined to die under the wheels of the flu will not die. A little more interesting stuff.
I'm going recently in a minibus, and there are two guys talking (the minibus is packed)
- And you just cough for fun, under the cars and run out.

Sometimes when I see people in masks, kotraya on the sides bristles, barely on the tip of the nose holds, the question is what it protects them from. And can a regular mask protect against viruses that are 15-350 nM in size? And this if I'm not mistaken is 0.00035 mm. Are the pores in masks even smaller confused.gif confused.gif confused.gif

18.11.2009 14:31, Трофим

Here I sit and write on the Internet. And my aunt came up to me and gave me a leaf for the prevention of flu, it's necessary as under the arm. In short, they knock down all the money that anyone can.

21.11.2009 18:39, Black Coleopter

I tried coughing in the subway near people in masks (covering their mouths, of course) with no result!!!

Masks do not protect against individual viruses, of course, but from micro drops (from 0.5 to 5 micrometers in diameter) of a sick person's saliva, which contain a lot of viral particles in each drop. With each sneeze, up to 40,000 of these microdroplets fly into the air and it is believed that one is enough to transmit the infection. As they write, masks are useful in caring for a sick person, but how much they help when worn on the street, there seems to be no final data yet.

Gas masks to the masses!!!

21.11.2009 20:28, RippeR

as far as I understand, masks save people when they are worn by a sick person. Then all the drool remains on the mask, but still does not save much from the spread of infection. And maxa on a healthy person, does not give anything, since the patient's saliva that got on the mask will still evaporate, and the infection due to the person's breathing will still get into his respiratory tract. Moreover, such a hit will be more terrible, since the infection will not linger, for example, in the nose, where local immunity will fight it, but will fly straight to the lower respiratory tract, where it is more likely to cause pneumonia, etc.

I don't know much about the flu (I've dealt with other viruses), but of course, ideally, the mask should be on the patient, but how will this be achieved in real life?
Since theoretically the virus can "land" on the mucous membrane of the eyes and cause infection, such a mask is needed for full protection. smile.gif
It remains to hope only for the consciousness of the patient.

The mask should be smoothed for 2-3 hours, then changed.
