Wonderful!
But it would be necessary to replace the All-Russian Entomological Society with the Russian one in the ad.

I posted here, in short, all the reviews and questions on this topic

dear friends! It was planned to open 2 topics:
"ENTOMOLOGICAL SEMINAR" - only the technical Secretary can post information about the topics and date of reports or presentations here... This way, you can quickly find out what you're planning!
In the topic "Reviews of the ENTOMOLOGICAL SEMINAR", everyone can give their assessment and express their opinion about this event, publicly express their wishes, post photos, etc... You have to understand that not everyone wants to read this... No time, for example... Yes, and think for yourself, how to find a new meeting date in this case?
I hope you understand the position of the "organization group"...
Come to the first meeting on Wednesday, and here we will also devote some time to the organizational issues of our SEMINAR...
Happy New Year!
Have A Good Year!!!

Thank you very much!
I will fix everything, and I will definitely take your suggestions regarding organizational issues into account. wink.gif

Everything is very cool. There is not enough information that you will need after approaching the building, i.e.:
- from which corner/entrance to enter and how it is marked on the building?
- what is the order of entry to the building (free/security, what words should I say)?
- where to find the assembly hall?

PS. Surely, not everyone has ever visited this place.

14.01.2011 23:21, captolabrus

Good evening! And people who are not able to attend the seminar, will be able ,nevertheless, to get acquainted with the reports made at it?

15.01.2011 2:30, RippeR

Oh, probably everyone looks at a photo of the meeting and, like me, thinks how wonderful it would be to take part in it.
I usually don't regret not living in Moscow, but in such cases I do, because I would like to attend seminars.
You're doing the right thing, thank you!

I'm letting you know. Entrance to the building of the A. N. Severtsov Institute of Power Engineering of the Russian Academy of Sciences from Leninsky Prospekt. The seminar takes place in the Assembly Hall, which is located on the left behind the watch. The watchman should say the magic word: "Entomological seminar", hand over your outerwear to the cloakroom (here, but to the right of the watch), get a number for it, go to the hall, greet the audience and take a convenient place for you to listen to the report and view relevant photos and videos. Enjoy your time!

Or can you briefly cover the topics of collecting and exporting material, and importing material to Russia? The topics are very relevant ,I think many people are interested.

Collect collection material in a particular country by first studying the relevant laws of the country. All laws are posted on the Internet. Keep in mind that collecting anything or anyone in National Parks (nature reserves) is strictly prohibited! It is allowed and even welcomed after a verbal agreement with the boss. Remember this!
The import of collected materials into the Russian Federation has been greatly simplified with the introduction of the Customs Code of the Customs Union. According to the "Regulations on the procedure for implementing quarantine phytosanitary control (supervision) at the customs border of the Customs Union" " ... 7.1. When implementing quarantine phytosanitary control (supervision), it is not required to submit import quarantine permits and phytosanitary certificates for the import of the following products of high phytosanitary risk:
1) transported across the customs border of the customs union
in postal items, hand luggage of passengers, crew members of ships,
aircraft, passenger cars, motor vehicles, provided that
the specified products are not planting or seed material or
potatoes;... "- see the Rosselkhoznadzor website (www.rsn-msk.ru/files/uploads/files/IKR/polozhenie-o-kontrole-na-tomozhennoy-granitse.pdf)

A list of high phytosanitary risk products can be found here: www.rsn-msk.ru/files/uploads/files/IKR/perechen-podkarantinnoy-produktsii.pdf

The first and last lines in the first section are interesting and very important for us.

Learn more! All success and good luck!

The next meeting of the Seminar is scheduled for February 9, which I will inform you about in addition.

I recently watched six episodes of the BBC series "Wild China" - I didn't even know that they still have so many unique / isolated places with endemic plants - what kind of insects should live there!!?
Interestingly, very much heard about the strictures about the collection and even more so the export of biomaterials from the Middle Kingdom !? How did M. B. Markhasev manage not only to visit there, but also to collect insects ???
Can at least concisely the authors of such interesting reports will AT LEAST tell us something!? With modern technologies-shoot videos on disks and you will be rewarded !!!
