Kharkovbut, 24.09.2013 20:01

The crux of the problem: on a new computer, I have Windows 7 installed, under which the program does not want to work. "Fixing compatibility issues" and trying to run in compatibility mode with Windows XP (under which the program worked on the old computer) does nothing.

Perhaps someone has already encountered this problem and it has a simple solution? I'd appreciate it.

Where can I get it? Or an ISO image, etc. can be uploaded to a file sharing site?
I will try to test on my own (Win 7 64 bit) in this case.

The program works only with the disk, the cost of the disk is less than the cost of hacking smile.gif

The CD was sold N years ago... smile.gif Maybe you can still buy it now: http://www.lysandrasoft.com/index.php?isRe...age=2&subProd=3

I have the disk, of course. It's not about hacking, but getting it to work under Windows 7. smile.gif

I don't remember who said that shuffle.gif

Evgeny, I told Vasily that you can't send the disk through file sharing sites. smile.gif
you can probably hack everything, just the price of the issue smile.gif
we have several e-disks, but we are still working in XP

Hacking as such is not needed there. The disk is easily cloned together with its IDs by specialized software, and then mounted on any virtual drive and works like a cute one.

Evgeny, I told Vasily that you can't send the disk through file sharing sites. smile.gif

Briefly:to be sure, the image is archived by the same Win Rar and quietly uploaded to the file sharing site smile.gif
Although the image can probably be laid out in its original form, since it is not a disk as such, but I don't know, I haven't tried it.

You don't need anything specialized: there is an old, good one for this CloneCD (I haven't used it for a long time, but it used to cope with this task "with a bang").
UPD: I mean this particular disc "Day Butterflies of Eastern Europe" because I don't think that there is protection there as on the discs for Sony Play Station (it is almost impossible to clone these correctly).

I join the first message. I have Vista and it doesn't work on it either. In general, since the developers have "protected" everything there, maybe they have some drivers for working with this disk on other operas. was it thrown off?

25.09.2013 10:19, Penzyak

And that this disk was released only once??? And that that version is still being sold??

25.09.2013 11:04, Alexandr Zhakov

No. there were several versions-two for sure. I don't know if they are being sold or not right now, but you can ask the authors directly. If the disk is locked, it can be ignored by any program.

there is a problem with this, but the latest versions also work on 7 contact Kirill Dovgailo - new versions of disks are on his computer

Igor, can I write about my experience with Yandex. Disk, but the truth will be a little bit about copyright infringement (on my part)?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH to the developers and everyone who participated in the creation! beer.gif
PS wrote to Cyril, ordered a couple of disks, waiting for the response
of the PPS when will we see the disk on zhuzham ?!

maybe never - there is a lot of work with them - but practically no return. I'd rather write a book - from all sides, no matter how you look at it, it's much more profitable.

Nothing terrible - write.

very sad. the book is certainly good, but it is more convenient to work with the disk

I bought the disk almost as soon as it was released. Due to the fact that they bought it "in a fold" and it was supposed to work with it on several computers, and the carrier is fragile, I immediately gave it to familiar programmers from Garant. I don't know what it was like, but they spent two days poking around and shook half a liter of Red Label off me-they say it's a good defense. They "twirled" the disk, but for work they had to "tear off" the IDE loop from the sidyuk. With the transition to SATA, this problem disappeared. It works for itself and me for joy under DAEMON and does not ask wink.gifto eat, as they say, and the disk is intact and the sheep are full tongue.gif

Thank YOU very much to everyone who worked on creating Yandex. Disk! mol.gif beer.gif

Beautifully designed and intuitive shell, polytomic keys with drawing each feature allow any "teapot" to determine the view. And comparing views by key is just GREAT! The only "glitch" is when you look at images in the definition (in keys), then part of the text disappears (theses creep on top of each other).

NB in order to prevent possible encroachments. consider me a buka-byaka, but I won't throw off the image: 1-traffic doesn't allow it; 2-copyright and human attitude/respect for developers

PS I sit on the "piggy" = XP, on the seven and vista did not try (they fundamentally infuriate me)

FYI, Kirill Dovgailo's answer:

The disk is protected using the "StarForce" system, for which the unique surface of the disk itself is the key.
When you purchased the disk, there was no Windows 7 yet, so the protection system does not work and does not allow Lysandra to load.
The only way to work with the disk is to work under the old Windows XP, alas.
There was an update and it seems it worked under Windows 7, but I sold out the print run and haven't printed a new one yet.

It won't work this is the solution about an hour? Toys with this protection often protect and bypass it very easily.
Oh, what am I writing shuffle.gif
P.S. It's worth reading the comments.
And try to update the security driver, maybe this "dog rummaged"?
Well, or look for another solution to how to make Yandex. Disk work. Isn't it the protection developed for XP that prevents you from working under seven?

It is the protection that does not give. Unfortunately, replacing the driver will not work, because the disk uses the protection version 3.04, and (information from the starforce website):

"before 3.07.018
, they will never be able to run under Windows 7.
Users of programs protected by versions prior to 3.07.018 should contact the developers and publishers of such programs to get a patch with Windows 7 support enabled."

The dreaded word is never... lol.gif

The dreaded word is never... lol.gif

Sad......
The only thing you can advise is to install VMware or just XP on another disk partition as a second system. Well, or "hammer" the disk publishers for a patch if they used such a moronic protection, which seems unrealistic for some reason....

I solved the problem by installing a virtual machine with Windows XP. Everything works like clockwork!

Dear colleagues and friends,

The CD "Day Butterflies of Eastern Europe" was re-released in a limited edition in 2018. A 2005 reissue of the disk that works in new versions of Windows.
The disk is a polytomic determinant and database of all subspecies of diurnal lepidoptera in the region. More than 3000 photos for all subspecies (both sexes, both projections), point maps of areas. Any information about Yandex. Disk, as well as suggestions for cooperation and an order , can be found at d_moth@mail.ru.

Do I understand correctly that this is a" stereotypical " reissue, i.e. there are no additions/corrections compared to the 2005 edition?

any additions/fixes ?

Yes, this is a very relevant question. I would like to learn more about what's new in Yandex. Disk, other than augmented photos.

Yes, the contents of the disc are in the 2005 edition. The only thing is that it works in modern versions of Windows. The content update is planned by a team of authors and is in progress.

What's the point of offering such antiques? They would have made an updated one right away and sold it. However, if there are combinations like "Parnassius mnemosyne" or "Polyommatus agestis", and Crimea is in "Ukraine", then complete disregard of this work will be guaranteed.

AGG, the old one opened once about 10 years ago and died - but there were a number of outdated combinations multiplied in the famous book by Lvovsky and Morgun. Therefore, it is difficult to expect anything new from this group of authors.
But I'll be happy to make a mistake.
