I'm going to Africa

Hello, I am planning a land hike along the route: North Caucasus, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Madagascar. The purpose of the journey is the journey itself. But I can also add the entomological part to it. The essence of the offer is that if someone needs a specific type, I can send it to the transport company. I don't ask for any money, but you pay for the shipment. I will start approximately in October.

PS I am not a professional, but only an amateur. But maybe I'll help someone.

A small problem: initially it is supposed to be a pedestrian crossing by land. However, Madagascar is an island. How do you plan to force the sea?

Do you think that you will collect the "necessary specific type" for someone along the roadsides of your trip? This looks SOOO NAIVE wink.gif

I am able to get to a specific prepositional place and search for a specific prepositional technology. But there are limitations in this regard - I do not plan to use generators, the maximum is a powerful flashlight.
As for getting into Madagascar, of course, I will get to Madagascar by water from Tanzania, and I may also get to the Comoros. There will also be a section between Jordan and Egypt, which I will also pass by water.

And most likely, I will even "force" several rivers across the bridge. So there are a lot of inconsistences

It's one thing for a river to cross a bridge, and another for a strait. Or is Madagascar already connected to the mainland by a bridge?

And how will you pass it? As far as I know, recently a herpetologist was detained there and spent a week in prison, after which he was deported to Russia, and so he went.
