Perhaps " D. Baranova " - Baranova Valley. I really haven't found one on the Internet. But Pavel Baranov is a famous Pamir researcher, botanist.

I am afraid that everything is not as simple as it seems with a superficial photographic perception of signs, if we do not ignore the dynamics of writing signs. Therefore, while we do not know about the comparison of this label with other labels of the same collector (if any in the ZIN), I will present my thoughts.

I believe that during the Pamir studies, Baranov had a relatively permanent residence in the Pamirs; the label almost certainly indicates "Baranov's house", especially if you take into account the name of the collector (collector!), which can also be found on the additional tombstone on Baranov's grave in Leningrad (see the photo of the grave at the link:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Мог....JPG?uselang=ru

The collector, without a doubt, is Anna A. Sahakyan-Baranova, who also left her mark in science; see, for example.:
https://search.rsl.ru/ru/record/01007431038

The first digit of the date is not 9, this interpretation is hindered by unnecessary details (when the next sign has to go sharply up to the right, no one makes a loop at the bottom of the nine, and in general, a loop at the bottom of the nine is extremely rare on the letter). This is the number 2, which many people (including the person who wrote the label) write with a noticeable loop at the bottom, in this case immediately passing to the fraction sign. The fact that the beginning of the deuce from the top right is very premature, with a margin, is quite common for deuce, but almost does not occur in nine.

And since the first digit in the year designation has nothing in common with such a two, the year designation clearly does not begin with a two; it is a three; a small protrusion from the spot (dynamically the lower left tail of the three) is visible at the bottom, i.e. the three was added by the author, but visually it is not immediately visible because of the compressed lower half, which prompted the mascara to pour an insufficient point and turn the lower half into a single spot.

Actually, Baranov's biography absolutely confirms the reading of the year as " 36 "and, accordingly (due to the obvious difference between the date digit and the first digit of the year), the reading of the date as"2". For your biography, see:

https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Баранов,_Павел_Александрович

In 1927, Baranov led the Pamir expedition for the first time - the "small Darvaz expedition", the purpose of which was to study the varieties of wild grapes, see fig.:

https://proza.ru/2018/10/05/1006

, and from 1923 to 1927, he generally explored the Tien Shan, and before that-the Talas Alatau. So it's probably best to forget about 1926 when reading the label.

As for the locale, if you want, you can understand this as well:

"In 1934, in the South-East of the Pamirs (GBAO) in the Dzhaushangoz tract, Pavel Alexandrovich Baranov and Ilaria Alekseevna Raikova organized the first biological station. It existed in this place for two years. In the autumn of 1936, it was transferred to the Chechekty tract of the Murghab River Valley (Eastern Pamir, 395 km from Osh, Kyrgyzstan) with strong points 2860-4750 meters above sea level and reorganized as a permanent Pamir biological station.

Pavel Baranov, a professor at the Central Asian State University (SAGU) from 1937 to 1940, became the first director of the biostation."

Let me clarify that in the autumn of 1936, most likely, only a decision was made on the transfer (for practical translation of Pamir institutions, autumn is not the best time), and the transfer itself took place only in 1937, see:

http://shb.nw.ru/wp-content/uploads/2018/0...22_29455087.pdf

It follows from the above that the label means: August 2, 1936, GBAO, Jaushangoz tract (or Javshangoz, Shahdara) (not exactly, see below), P. A. Baranov house, leg. A. A. Sahakyan.

According to the exact locale, there may be variants that need to be checked against the paper edition of 1935. In the source:
https://collectedpapers.com.ua/ru/nature_of...sna-ekspediciya
Since 1934, A. A. Sahakian (but as A. A. Sahakyants) has been listed among the employees of the Pamir expedition. It also recommends the work of P. A. Baranov and I. A. Raikova " Central Asian State University in the struggle for the development of the Pamirs "(Tashkent, 1935), which is known both as a separate print and as an article in the Bulletin of the Central Asian State University. Issue 20, 1935. This article discusses in detail the work of all four (!) branches (hospitals) of the Pamir expedition in its Jaushangoz period: Khorog, Porshnevsky, Bashgubezsky and Yashilkulsky (judging by the names, not close to each other and not very attached to Jaushangoz). Perhaps, if you look at this publication (there is, for example, in Leninka), it will be possible to say more precisely where the house of Baranov himself was located in August 1936.

Thank you so much for such a thorough investigation of this label. I came to GBAO based on other reports made by A. A. Sahakyan in July-August 1936 and published in various articles.

Hello, I got a belyanka with this label.
Yu. V. Pamir

Kaabsk

As I understand it, this means that the specimen was caught in the South-Eastern Pamir, (?) the city of Kyzylrsbat, at an altitude of 4500m, on 09.07.1986. (?) Kaabsk, this is the name of the trapper.

I would be grateful for your help in more precise decoding
