I recently had a female tree mantis shed, but it didn't have time to pull out its legs..the skin has hardened and it moves without two legs (although it has them)Will the molt track be fine?Or would she be crippled?Although he eats well.

Then there are still chances, you can feed them. The main thing is that not the front ones. What's your age?"

Hi.
If it manages to pull out at the next molt, then there is a chance that they will straighten out at least partially. It will even be possible to help her manually, if during the molt, at the moment when the knee appears from the skin, gently and smoothly lead it to the side, putting half of tweezers or a cotton swab under it, until the leg comes out completely (the lower leg will bend during stretching, which is what happens with a normal molt).

Now, since the load on the second pair of legs has doubled, I advise you to feed it less often than the others. Otherwise, the tendons that hold the claws in a bent position may break, unable to withstand the weight of the body. Therefore, it is advisable to feed it so that it gains weight as slowly as possible, and the tissues have time to get used to the loads.
Since any movement for her is now difficult and therefore undesirable, I also advise you to arrange a small room for her, like cups with a net or napkin attached to the inner surface, where she can move along the walls and ceiling with a minimum of effort. It is desirable that the height exceeds the length of the insect by 4-5 times.

An idea! You can bend her legs in the right shape, body, and all that at the next molt! Such beauty will turn out! lol.gif
