Where to put the butterfly?

Found a butterfly urticaria. What should I do with it? You can't let them out in the cold? Will he die instead of going into hibernation?

Take it to some unheated (poorly heated) room: attic, basement, etc. There it will spend the winter.

Thanks for the answer!
I took it. The temperature there is +13. It went into hibernation. Maybe lower it is necessary?
Before hibernation, I saw her drinking water!!! (This is the first time I've seen this! Proboscis was looking for water drops and sucked them in! I was shocked when I thought they weren't eating!)
Her wings are skinned steel. Can't fly. Will they get overgrown?

I wonder how the wings themselves "became" skinned? Surely someone contributed to this! I sympathize - of course, the wings will not overgrow. As for the temperature, if the room is dark, then even at this temperature it will overwinter. Although, it is possible (it does not hurt) and much lower, if only above 0.By the way, about your shock at the sight of a drinking butterfly. And what do you think they fly to the flowers for? Out of a sense of beauty? Or should I still drink some nectar? wink.gif

Yes, the wings are peeled off due to the fact that I kept it not in a jar, but in a plastic container for transporting animals, it has a relief inside... Apparently, she was still struggling. frown.gif
I'll put it in the refrigerator (there +8 +6). Will it work? smile.gif

Also: does hibernation extend your life?

I apologize for the question mol.gifand under what circumstances did you meet? maybe I'm wrong, but maybe it shouldn't have been "detected"?
ps even after "baking" the doors in the country, I always leave a couple of windows, and if there is a little snow, then you can also look at butterflies in the middle of winter jump.gif
