I want to raise the topic of manual pairing again and urgently. I pulled out a few Papillio Machaon pupae and 3 males and a female came out of them. I read that sailboats can be mated manually, but I have no idea how to do it. I can't find the material on the Internet. Anyone who has experience with manual challenge, please tell me.

The male is impotent, not disclosed. The female moves her belly, and the male does not jump and does not show any initiative at all. The second male died during the night. In a very strange position - the same one. Bending the abdomen and spreading the genitals. Maybe they are missing something? Winter after all. They live in my humidified aquarium for 60 liters and pasted with a grid. In the evening, I let you fly around the light bulb. The male is 14 days old and the female is 5. The second one was around 7.

Aren't they siblings?

What do you feed them?
At the expense of the age of butterflies-some species of butterflies mate immediately after leaving the pupa, and others only after a few days. Like Swallowtail, I don't know.
If the male died quickly, then it is possible that the pupa was weak. It happens. One butterfly comes out of the pupa and dies in a couple of days, and the other one also lives for a long time.

The probability of kinship exists - the caterpillars gathered in the same territory. Some of the pupae are obtained from eggs in general, by tracking the female in nature and assembling the "harvest". Another pupa has darkened, will come out soon, and it will definitely be a male. I feed it with a fructose solution, sometimes I plant it on a wet flower pot. I tried to mate swallowtails in the summer, but not manually. At that time, the male showed interest in the female, but mating did not occur. I learned about manual mating later.
