In my apartment in a jar pupated caterpillar scoops Helicoverpa armigera. It's hatched today, and it's cold outside. What to do with a butterfly? what to feed her, how to keep her? Will the jar work?
I'm really looking forward to hearing from you!!!!

Where do you live? I'm afraid I must disappoint you: your butterfly has hatched at the wrong time, and it won't live very long. You can, of course, offer her a cotton wool soaked in sweet water. And so - you had to keep the pupa in a cool room (for example, on an unheated balcony), and in the spring it would hatch, and you could release it into the wild. And so, keeping a dustpan at home is a lost cause.

- Depends on the concentration of sugar (honey), on the duration and frequency of feeding, on the butterfly itself (if the caterpillar was underfed and, accordingly, the butterfly turned out to be weak, then in any case it will die quickly).
- Feed-it is best often and a little. I didn't feed this particular species, but some scoops, if you don't limit their food intake, overeat and die from it.

If a specific" recipe " for care, then: feed 1 time a day, make the solution so that it is barely sweet. Feeding time is the most difficult moment. Some butterflies eat very fast. But, I usually feed for about five minutes.
