How to take care of a peacock's eye?

Community and ForumInsects breedingHow to take care of a peacock's eye?

Today (December 13) I found a butterfly in the entrance. I brought the peacock's eye home and felt sorry for it.It's just cold already and it's snowing. When I brought it I looked at it and noticed that her left wing was torn but not much I didn't take it for the wings because I was afraid to damage the pollen. In the afternoon, I fed her a syrup of sugar and water, like a butterfly drank. I don't know what to do next what else to feed her? Can I fix her wing?
Do I need to put a wet sponge or rag in the jar at night? Where is it better to put the jar?
How often should I feed her? I'm very worried...Please help me! wink.gif

If the refrigerator is a drip type (without blowing), put it in the refrigerator. You don't need to do anything else. Release it in the spring. Or take it back to the entrance if the temperature is near zero. She needs the cold now. And in a warm room, she will not live long.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to cure torn wings, but butterflies can fly without serious problems with rather large pieces of them torn out.

You can cover the hole with a thin Band-aid. I checked with hawthorn.
