More than a year ago, I plucked an unfortunate maggot from a rotten trunk in Indonesia. (Most likely even 2 pcs - I forgot). Fate gave her several flights, as well as a secret passage in the car of the Moscow-Rostov train. During the year, to my chagrin, most of the animals disappeared - ran away, weaning me for the future to be so greedy in the desire to bring everything that moves. (I feel remorse.)Today I still got to the revision in a box with earth and rot, not without surprise, finding in one of them, thin and dry ,1 larva.( It has survived both cool weather and droughts) I didn't find any old photos, so I was afraid to take them out. I attach what is there, the size is up to 5 cm in length, the thickness is 4mm. Interesting: what to do for adequate feeding and maintenance. Maybe there's a stub left of the branch.

Scorpion, caught in the same place, and the worm was caught after a while during the "revision". Some bright and frisky, it seemed. Imported?

Do you understand that this is absolutely impossible to do? It is in this way that a lot of pests are imported, which then have to be fought for decades, and usually unsuccessfully...

This is exactly what you absolutely need to do! Otherwise, in the collections of domestic keepers there will be only" leftovers from the table " of Czechs and Poles, which, in turn, are "leftovers from the table" of Germans and Americans, who do just that - grab everything that moves at resorts. So my respect TS smile.gifRemorse is a reason to experience only about their own carelessness, which allowed the animals to run away and die. It is necessary to take tightly closed food containers with you on a trip. And already on the spot, if anything comes across - pick at the ventilation holes. And no one will escape. And of course, in a good way, you should not take everything that moves, but only what is supposed to be quite simple in maintenance and allows for multi-day transportation without care. These include most cockroaches, crickets, almost all arachnids, and most millipedes. And all sorts of straight-winged ones, mantises and stick insects, if you take them, then only in the form of eggs. It is better not to take butterflies alive at all - there is little chance of finding a caterpillar food plant at home. But with beetles, everything is not easy. For example, bronzes are quite unpretentious in maintenance, rhinos with horns are already more difficult (it is necessary that the wood is infected with the right mushrooms), and we suck poorly with other groups of xylophages, since most of their representatives are narrow specialists in the same genus (or even type) of trees, which of course do not exist in central Russia.

Musolin, don't spoil the nonsense, it hurts weep.gifher Pests are imported with agricultural products. Moreover, if a banana pest is introduced in the Russian Federation, for example, the prospects for its naturalization are vague smile.gifYes, there are exceptional cases when tropical arthropods that have escaped from terrariums somehow miraculously form self-sustaining populations in the Holarctic, but they have nothing to do with the settlement of pests. Examples: periplanets and greenhouse grasshoppers in the subway - well, very dangerous pests of the psyche of exalted individuals lol.gif

The worm is quite similar to the young domestic Lumbricus terrestris, but the photo can not be guaranteed.

I didn't think about the masses of pests. There was a bobcat, spider, snails, etc. A couple of pupae (pupated in field conditions, no result)This larva is one, and even if 2, some tropical black-bodied goldfish were hatched, they would not have had time to eat their native planting. Before they cut it down for firewood.
About "run away" concerns a male house gecko. I didn't have time to seal the terrarium. Lack of time.
